Kids Voting,

Kelly I am so glad that you were able to step in and help the organization make this transition. You have been a valuable asset to Kids Voting as a Board member -and now you are truly a super star hero for this extraordinary organization as it makes this transition.

The entire team of volunteers, staff members, and Board members are the best!

Thank you Kelly for stepping up! You deserve peach pancakes every week!

Ever a fan,
Anna

Well I was at that party and while I think it's safe to say that none of the DDR participants will appear on the television program "So You Think You Can Dance", it was a fantastic evening filled with all of the various things that will make Kids Voting a tremendous force for many in our community for years to come. When I first started volunteering for Kids Voting I did it because, well, frankly I had some time on my hands. Now, I can't imagine not being involved and look forward to wrangling my daughter into helping support the mission in whatever capacity an 8 year old can serve. Thanks for all that you do now and for the voters of the future.

Right on! I am sick and tired of the people who choose to make Dayton their home complaining about living here. Every now and then the media gets it right, but most times the story is not exactly as it appears. There are many people who actively choose to live here by staying in the area where they were raised or by moving in from cities percieved to be better than Dayton. They are wrong. Every town in America has something to offer and I would argue that Dayton is on the high end of the scale with many things to offer to all demographics. Come on, Daytonians, pick yourselves up and look around!

Richard Dreyfuss recently appeared on a cruise, and I had the fortune to record the entire hour-long presentation he gave on this topic, which I've published as two parts in the podcast at http://podcast.geekcruises.com/ - enjoy!
